Mission Statement
To help families visualize what they are trying to accomplish with their lives, develop a plan for success, measure progress, and prepare for the unexpected events that might challenge these visions.
Adviser Oath
The Adviser shall exercise his/her best efforts to act in good faith and in the best interest of the client. The adviser shall provide written disclosure to the client prior to the engagement of the adviser, and thereafter throughout the term of the engagement, of any conflicts of interest which will or reasonably may compromise the impartiality or independence of the adviser.
Core Beliefs
- Plan for the unexpected. Health and wealth are not inalienable rights.
- Match resources to the need for capital consumption. Remove market and interest rate risk from the next seven to ten year’s capital needs and provide for diversified growth on the remainder. Planning retirement needs and activities based on daily market movements is no way to enjoy the time you have left on this earth.
- Diversify long-term investments. Often this means buying and holding investments in a category that has not performed well lately. The reward comes when the market shifts unexpectedly.
- Keep investment costs as low as possible. Over long periods of time investment expenses can make a big difference in how much money you have.
- Don’t try to time the market. Market timing is a fool’s game. Experts worldwide with endless resources time and again have proven that they cannot predict in the short-term what is going to happen in the market or to interest rates. Only long-term planning has predictive value.
